I cared for my Mother in my home until she passed, and cared for my husband (bone cancer) until he passed. I have a strong desire to help others when they are ill. I try to make each day a little better for them. I love to see them laugh and enjoy preparing their favorite foods, having conversations and listening to them. I am very active with my family, we ride roller coasters, go on cruises and we have dinner a least once a week. I am blessed to have a large loving family. I have outstanding references available upon request.
Empathy - Great caregivers are able to cultivate closer bonds by sharing in the happiness or the sadness of the senior they care for. Patient - Caregivers understand that slowing down is a process of aging. A great caregiver allows the elderly to move at their own pace and not make them feel rushed. Dependable & Honest - Caregivers work with a great deal of independence. A great caregiver must be counted on to be where he or she is required to be on time and prepared as well as to perform required duties in the absence of continuous supervision Compassionate - Great caregivers possess a powerful desire to help others, especially seniors. They are inviting and available even if all they do is listen and provide companionship.

I am a great caregiver because I'm honest, loyal, patient, and very dependable. I am someone that can be counted on to be there. I have natural urge to care for people. I've been helping people since I was a little girl. I lived in the country(Skene, Ms) with two elderly women and I had the task of helping them to take care of themselves. It was one of the most rewarding times in my life. I've continued on this journey by getting jobs doing what I love to do and that's taking care of others.
Caregiver is one of the best jobs I have ever had. I am blessed to call myself a caregiver because I'm trusted to do God's work, right here on earth and i love every bit of it. Being a caregiver is not all about money to be, it takes the heart and courage to help those whom have lost hope with life and gives them another chance at living life. I begun caregiving when my uncle was diagnosed with brain Cancer. It made me who I am today. He taught me to cherish life even when you are gone because no one knows when it's time to leave earth. I love being a caregiver and helping others. It's my passion. [?]

I am genuinely compassionate for those I care for. I love to care for others. My purpose in life is to be of service to others and being a caregiver allows me to walk in my purpose. Caregiving is my calling. I have been assisting those in need even before I obtained a professional title to do so. I enjoy seeing the power of God manifest through the sick and turn tragic situations in health into unbelievable miracles. I am personally proud of the fact that I'm still able to help change lives just by the act of kindness and caring for a total stranger with love.
