I started taking care of my grandmother at the young age of 8, from then on I decided to be a caregiver because it is a rewarding experience to see the smile on any elderly face. Personal achievement are getting my certification in home health aide and nursing assistant, my next achievement is going to school to receive my nursing degree.

My name is Onye but everyone calls me Red because nobody can usually pronounce it. I love helping people in need and mainly love caregiving because I'm able to help people who really need assistance and hopefully make them feel better and feel that they are not alone and that they mean something and people care about their wellbeing. I have a great amount of experience in being a caregiver I actually started very young. At the age of 8 I started being my mom's assistant caring for people and my first patient was my grandmother I cared for her for many years as she became more sick my responsibility grew I was responsible for bathing, cleaning, laundry, hygiene and more but the part I loved the most was the good talks that we had I was able to make her feel alright and happy and not alone until the day she passed. I would love to continue to do those things for people around the world if I am given the opportunity it makes me so happy and makes me feel like a good person. I love to smile and talk and laugh but most importantly uplift the people around me and hopefully I can continue to do that over the years

I worked 25 years in the Rutherford County School System as a Custodian and a Lunchroom Worker. I learned many skills in my years working there. How to be a team player was one of the many skills I learned. My references included 3 Principal's that I worked for.

I took care of my sister-in-law whom had Lou Gehrig Disease for over 3years. I was able to give her a bath in bed along with washing her hair. I also took care of my mom who had dementia and Alzheimer's

I am ambitious, patient, compassionate, dependable and attentive. My grandmother has been bedridden since I was a kid. At the age of 18 I took on the responsibility to take care of her as an aide. I fell in love with this line of work from there. I love being the person to make my clients day or make them smile. My personal achievement is being the first in my family to attend college.

I am responsible, hard working, dependable and trustworthy. Caregiving comes naturally to me. Growing up I would visit my great-uncle and aunt in the nursing home with my grandmother and help her with tasks for them that they could not do. These are precious memories for me. Prior to my management career in retail, I worked in daycares with all ages. Both of these fields have came with experiences that have taught me paitence, attentiveness and professionalism. My name is Angie Brown, I have experience working in skilled facilities and also assisted living. For the last few years I have been doing home health care.
