First and foremost, I am the mother of a one year old daughter. I love cooking, doing hair, and playing trivia games. I've been helping elderly people since I was 12. My grandmother inspired me, as I would go with her to a few houses around the neighborhood and help out the older people in our community. I then ended up taking care of my grandmother. The thing I enjoy the most is them knowing someone cares. I enjoy listening to them and assisting whenever I can. I've learned so much working with different people. I was a certified nurse assistant for 20+ years. I graduated as a medical clinic lab assistant and 2008. From there I went into ministry, I am a ordain minister as well as an ordained chaplain. 2016 I completed a course for medical phlebotomy. I am A nurturer by nature, I love to assist other in bring their best. When I was 9yrs old I used to help my great grandmother tend to her sister home was epileptic and had severe seizures from since then I have always helping care for young and elderly. The reward is in knowing you have helped someone feel better, look better, be better, especially when they are use to doing for themselves. Compassion and empathy is a must along with proper communication and a smile.

I've always enjoyed helping others being a support in times of need. I was a K-12 teacher in Asheville for many years, after graduating from UNCwith a Teaching Fellowship. I've loved traveling and have studied throughout the world, including at Cambridge University and in Dijon, France. My very best achievement is being a mother to a young girl who understands the importance of kindness, empathy and service to others in our community.
