Being honest and taking responsibility for my actions. Adaptability and compatibility; I get along with others. Drive and determination; I will strive help you keep going no matter what. Compassion and empathy; I can relate to others well. Patience; I will take all the time in the world if that is what's needed. Courage; I will do what's right in tough situations. Loyalty; I'll do what it takes to earn your trust. I'm attracted to being a caregiver because I enjoy getting close with families and building a relationship with them to make their situation a little easier. If I can be there for someone I want to be there. Making memories are worth a lifetime. One piece of my life that I've always been proud of is back in elementary school when I helped this one student who had spina bifida, use a walker, and wheel chair most of the time. I was their to open doors, move chairs, get things when needed, or help them out when they were tired. Over time it was recognized then was nominated for the Service Above Self Awards.

A little bit about me is that I am someone who provides home care to others and with that being said I require a lot of patients. Compassion. When someone has compassion for another they have an understanding of what the person is going through. Employers hiring caregivers are looking for patient and compassionate individuals who can provide additional support to people who are unable to care for themselves I am Certified To Do So.
I have experience working in facilities as a PCA and Med Tech. I have worked with the terminally ill, hospice, disabilities, smokers and more. I am extremely dedicated to my residents, making sure they are comfortable and happy with their care at all times. I love what I do because I get joy in helping the elderly.
Being able to empathize allows me to put myself in patient shoes, and identify and ease the patients fears and discomfort. Having passion for what I do allows me to be the best caregiver that I can possibly be. I love my job. I genuinely care for my patients and people who are in need. I'm constantly looking for ways to improve my job performance ultimately, to make the lives of each patient the best it can possibly be. Having traits such as honesty and trustworthiness are are indispensable qualities everyone should have. Especially when in the homes of others. There will be many hurdles along the way when caring for different patients. Having patience's and being flexible will allow me plenty of opportunities in the field of nursing.
Hi everyone I'm a all around "lover of people!" I throughly enjoying working with the elderly and making their day better. Knowing that I am able to help and make a difference is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver. I am in school to eventually be a nurse and feel this my passion; caring for people. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy trying to make other people laugh and look on the bright side!:) It reminds me to do the same myself. Anything healthcare related is hard work but the reward is something that money could never buy!
