I became a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of people of all ages. I like being a care giver because I can give extra love and attention to people who need it the most. I have been in the heath care field for over 20 years. I have work with seniors, rehab patients, Hospice, Alzheimer patients, adolescence and pediatrics. I have also been a recreational director in senior and Alzheimer care.I am well versed in several healthcare settings. I have taken care of several family members who have had illnesses including my mother until her time of transition at home.
I am a compassionate, kind, and gentle person with a passion for helping the elderly maintain quality of life -- no matter what stage of growth they are in. I have experience with dementia, depression, and physical disabilities. I am eager to help around the house too. Most importantly, I am of mature age meaning you get commitment, longevity and dependability. This is my second career in life and makes me feel satisfied because I can make a difference in someone's life.
Hello! I'm Sarah. I have been a caregiver for 5 years now. I have experience in most areas of memory care & mobility & also hospice care. I have gained my experience from working in a nursing home facility & also going out on my own into private duty care. I really enjoy private care. For the simple reason you can connect with the patient and the family on a more personal level while being in the patients comfort of home. I believe what makes me stand out as a great caregiver is the love of what I do! & also my outgoing personalitly! At the end of the day my patients become family to me. I care about them just as much as if they really were related to me. I really do love my Job as a caregiver & taking care of those that are in need. My Reviews from previous family's will speak for themselves. I have never had a disappointed family. I will work with the patient & the patients family to make sure I uphold the best possible care for the patient.
I am a very compassionate dedicated person who enjoys to work with people not only on a work- related level, but on a personal level. I was awarded Certified Nurse Aide of the year for one of my previous jobs. I became a caregiver because I like to help others. I have a lot of patience.
My heart warming, and personable personality helps me tremendously when it comes to being a great caregiver. I empathize with people, as well as just give them one extra person to love them just as family would. I was in nursing school when I decided to become a CNA. When I began my work as a CNA, I left nursing school behind for a moment to really enjoy being a care taker. I loved it that much. I am now currently back trying to become a nurse, one college credit at a time, while still enjoying being a CNA full time. Being able to wake up knowing I love my job is very important to me. Giving care and ensuring the safety and comfort of an individual is an extremely rewarding job. I have the patients and compassion to give these people that just need a little extra help. And it is completely okay to need a little extra help. Choosing me to be your family members caretaker means you a hiring another family member. I will provide your loved one with the love and sympathy they deserve. I will ensure they get through their day completing their daily tasks safely and effectively. I will provide them a friend and forever loved one, as I care for all of my patients as I would want my loved one to be cared for.

I am 40 years old. I was an LPN for 17 years. I have been a personal caregiver for the past 3 years. In my nursing career I have worked in nursing homes and in a critical care hospital. I enjoyed both very much but my heart is in geriatric care. I have specialized in caring for dementia patients for the majority of my career. I love taking care of people and take great pride in my work. I have learned a lot while working in the healthcare field but my favorite thing about this work is that you continue to learn new things every day. Each person I care for is different and original in the things they like and dislike and getting to know them is key to being the best caregiver I can be. No matter what I learned in school the best education I could ever get comes from getting to know each one individually and having the opportunity to work with them.
