Hello! My name is Rocio Whitten and I have been a caregiver since 2002. I am from Colombia and moved to the United States in 1997. I started off as an independent caregiver when my neighbor asked me to take care of their mother, and from then I found my deep passion for this career. For a few years I continued to care give independently, but then, in 2011, I decided to start working with a company to have more consistency with individuals I got to serve. I have been a caregiver on and off for over 20 years, I can run errands, bathe, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transfers, companionship, dementia care, I don't mind pets, cooking meals or prep. I have reliable transportation, I don't smoke.

I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity respect and compassion. I prefer to work closely with only a few seniors at a time so I can really get to know them. Thier likes, dislikes, needs and wants. Understanding the needs and wants of your loved one allows me to help them continue to enjoy their favorite activities and hobbies and the rest of their lives safely with the most professional compassion possible. My mother has been disabled for my whole life and I understand the difficulties families face when trying to care for their aging family members. I hope to provide peace of mind knowing your loved one is in good hands and supporting and encouraging words whenever necessary. I never "clock out" you never know when you may need someone and because life doesn't stop till its over I am always only a phone call away.
