Hello! My name is Rocio Whitten and I have been a caregiver since 2002. I am from Colombia and moved to the United States in 1997. I started off as an independent caregiver when my neighbor asked me to take care of their mother, and from then I found my deep passion for this career. For a few years I continued to care give independently, but then, in 2011, I decided to start working with a company to have more consistency with individuals I got to serve. Helping out my clients is so rewarding. I love getting to make them smile and laugh, along with helping their general well being, and keeping my clients safe. Throughout all these years of care giving, I have learned so much from my clients and each person I get to serve has made me a better helper. Hello hi I'm a proud mom of two being a mom is one of my biggest accomplishments, I started basic caregiving about 10 years ago absolutely love it about almost 3 years ago when covid first hit I became a CNA and fell in love with that as well I've worked privately and discreetly independently with individuals who choose not to work with agencies so they are in more control of their life in their own home I have learned that comfort and understanding and patience is the priority with each and every individual which is why I take my time everybody is different everyone has their own particular wants and needs and expectations of how they want things done I am willing to be that person who comes in to help with those accommodations I am 100% professional dependable and reliable I wear my heart on my sleeve and I treat others how I would love to be treated

I take care of my client with respect and I make sure that they are always clean and changed. I am a great cook. I exercise a lot so me helping my client with some light workout is really important to me. I also love listening to my clients stories. I make sure that I do my job right and that the client is happy with the work I am doing. I am a great driver, know technology and have the patient to take care of someone. Been doing CNA for 12 years and I enjoy doing it.

I enjoy working with elderly. The majority of my clinical practice was senior care and rehab services. I am an LPN becuase I like to help people get better in the most carying way following Drs plan of care and helath guidelines, I am proud of the way patients heal with the porpper support and careful follow up from our end

I've received multiple certifications in CRP/FIRST AIDE, & MEDICATIONS, & many more. Any kind of hand over hand assistance requirements rather online or in person I've kept up to date personally & responsibly. I HAVEN'T ANY ISSUES WITH LIFTING PROPERLY & TRANSFERRING individuals, I am fully trained in this area. I've dedicated my life to fulfilling job tasks well doing something I REALLY enjoy most, helping others with daily life skills their unable to do alone, including providing companionship. I've learned being on time, reliability, & dedication is a priority through out my years of experience. I'm very proud of what I've learned so far and I've got plans to learn more everyday. One of my main achievements is watching , over viewing & loving an individuals day to day progress. As I grow with knowledge & age it's not always a JOB, it's being a positive inspiration & motivator to others in a time of need. I treat others they way i would want to be treated, & well working i always create a bond with my patients as if their family however still acknowledging there are boundaries being the employee. Meeting new people an being a team player gives me so much gratitude towards this profession I've established for so many years. I always attempt to apply availability PRN (as needed) in case of last minute emergencies being ON CALL. Flexibility variates (I try NOT to do overnights ONLY) however I have no problem with trying just to meet the needs of others and their families.
