I then began to grow my career further in health care learning first hand from registered nurses on how to change catheters, monitor oxygen tanks, give insulin injections, bsl, colostomy/ wound care. I've dealt with a variety of in home family who have members who have developed conditions such as MS, Heart failure, COPD, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, mentally challenged etc. Even if it comes to nursing back to health after a terrible fall, I'm efficient with using a hoyer lift. I may be a little slim but I am strong, with good strategic skills!

Hello! I've been a CNA for over 7 years now. I also have been doing home care for almost 2 years. I love working in the medical field. I prefer home care over the nursing facilities however. I love the 1 on 1 time I get to spend with my clients.

I took care of my mom for the last 12 years. She has Alzheimer and needed twenty four care with personal care, cooking, banking, med management . My mom could never be left alone. She is now in a nursing home. In the past, I have worked as a care companion and as a home health aide . I also I worked for Heritage Christian home in a day center.
