I've been a caregiver for 7 years. I started out in a nursing home, taking my CNA/STNA classes and remaimed there for 5 years. I've done home health off and on as needed. I love what I do because I get to help and care for others. This profession is very rewarding for me and teaches you many new things such as patience, time management and many many other things. I have always had a passion to take care of elderly. I have working in nursing homes for 10 years. One if the things I enjoy most is putting smiles on there faces. I'm a divorced mom of three adult children. My daughter is 33 years old and is mildly disabled. She remained under my care 24/7 until 23 when she entered a program allowing her to live with assistance be somewhat independent. My sons are 28 and 18 the latter of which was adopted as a newborn. (I will add a photo asap and background check can be done when needed. There no issues at all!) In the past I assisted my brother-in-law who was mildly disabled and ended up with ALS. I also emotionally supported my sister as she watched her friend pass with ALS as well. I'm compassionate by Nature, kind-hearted and affectionate. I love people of all ages and abilities and races. I love to laugh and smile I'd like to find ways to see other people do the same. I'm an excellent cook and enjoy doing. I love good conversation as well. Now that I'm an "empty nester " I'm looking for my place in this new life chapter. I seek live in situation so I can relocate more easily.

I was state tested for 16 years . I have done. Private care and worked in nursing homes . I am a very empathetic person . Who cares about people , old and young . I enjoy hearing my elders story of their life , what they did for a living , what it was like when they were young. I am a very hard working woman . I have earned everything I have . Nothing was given to me ,and I have raised my children the same way.

I graduated nursing school in 1996. I am an RN. I have worked in the hospital setting my whole career, mostly cardiac patients. I won a trip to Disney, from my employer, for having my name mentioned the most on our patient surveys. I love taking care of my patients.
