Hello my name is Rebecca I got by Becca I been a care giver for 3 years almost 4 ..I started to care for my grandma for 2 months right after I had surgery for cervical cancer I was 3 weeks in to bed rest and grandma called she was looking at 4 to 6 months I came home to care for her . I love being a caregiver i never stop learning things ...I get to meet new people and hear they story of life and pass they Knowledge down. I love making my clients happy seeing them smile awesome my day

I am going on my third year of college, and my third college as well. I am finishing up my surgical nursing degree at Marion Technical College with a Surgical Technician certification and a phlebotomy certification as well. I have spent time in caring for my grandmother while she was in and out of the hospital, and I will provide compassionate care to those who need. My job as a future nurse is to provide comfort and love to patients varying different health conditions. My ideal job profession in the future is to work in hospice as well. When I was younger, I had a heart disease and my life-long goal is to give back to nurses and patients with 110% passionate and sympathetic care.

I have provided care to several clients with different needs for many years. I take pride in performing task to the best of my abilities. It brings me joy to know I have helped an individual achieve there goals. I value dignity, respect, and independence.

Being a caregiver has been very rewarding in knowing I am able to make others feel good in their daily lives with assistance of daily living. They feel secure which makes me feel good and proud to assist. I have alot of compassion and heart for anyone.

For me, being a caregiver isn't just a career. It's my calling in life. I feel as though it's what I was put here to do. My very first job at age 18 was as a caregiver for a lady with MS. I cared for her as a live in for nearly three years with one day off weekly. I then moved to direct care for disabled individuals and have accumulated several years experience. I am certified in first aid/ CPR, medication administration, insulin trained, and have a wide path of experience to fall back on. I was also caregiver for my mother for five years until she passed from ALZ. I am currently attending college studying Human and Social Services to better provide for those I work with and for. I believe that being a caregiver requires a special individual, just as special as those I care for. I have always felt that the individuals I have met and worked with have each been a blessing in their own way and I am the lucky one for having them in my heart and life. I view my clients as family, nothing less. I am dedicated, sincere, patient, full of good humor, not easily upset, and my greatest joy is making others happy. That's the biggest benefit of all. I am great at everything i do. Very out going and i have a deep care for other's. Nursing is not about the rate of pay, I believe it is about compassion for other's . I love what I do. And to be apart of someones life and provide exceptional care. I am a mother of 3 , hard working and very friendly. At every care position i have held i have received multiple rewards and recognition from the care I give. I do not feel inadequate in any aspect of my life, training or my abilities as a caregiver/ nurse.

I'm a very compassionate person, I listen to clients, hear their problems and let them vent when they need to. I enjoy hearing the clients lives about how they grew up, what they went threw growing up in an era that was very different from modern days. I feel that in my job I'm giving back to the community and assuring when ever and where ever I can.

I have been working in this field for over 15 years. I specialized in hospice and wounds. I have worked for many families and some great doctors. I have over 40 certifications, I am cpr/first aide certified, phlebotomist and vent trained. I love helping people and making their days brighter in any way I can.

I have 10 siblings in total and I do care for them when need be. I enjoy feeling the pride in caring for people. I am taking the STNA program at Pioneer and work very dilegently while also friendly and caring.

Companion, trustworthy, non judgmental, loves to communicate and always listens. I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that i can be the one to go above and beyond, i want these people's families to trust that their getting what they need & deserve. STNA License CPR certified First-Aid
