I started helping my mom with my dad when I was 14 yrs old after he had a stroke. I fell in love with helping people. My favorite thing about being a caregiver aside from helping them with what they need is the bonds that are formed. The clients sort of become family. I'm a mom to 2 kids and bonus mom to 3 others. Raising them in this dark world to be kind and loving and respectful as well as respectable is my biggest accomplishment.

I'm a professional with an easy personality, I have traveled to various parts of the world while serving my Country, so I've lived with diversity on a very large scale. I enjoy the Care field as it gives me satisfaction while working with others to bring change to those in distress.

I enjoy the most about caregiving when clients talk to me about fun stories about their past. I enjoy being their voice to hear whenever they are sad or need a friend to talk to. I enjoy watching western shows and I enjoy most to cook and clean for them.

I am a gentle and patient person. I worked with people that had disabilities before I switched to home health. I'm a student so I'm a hardworker, I have experience in practically all sides of healthcare at the Cna and home health level and I'm cpr certified. Being a caregiver gratifies me because I'm making a difference in someone's life and my own and I'm developing friendships and making memories with my clients. I don't like to just go to work and do the bare minimum and then go home, I want to do everything I can to make my clients life more fun and enjoyable. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is my continuation of my education, I can't wait to earn my degree and fulfill my dreams.

I started doing private care about 8 years ago 4 years into it I realized I liked doing it . So I went and got certified to broaden my work area . Last year I was nominated for CNA of the year at the last facility I worked . Then I went to mission hospice . People asked me when they find out I worked for a hospice company they ask ain't that a difficult job . I responded with "no it is a blessing and I learn so much from the people I take care of ."

Compassionate, Companion, positive, patient, jolly, honest, trustworthy, dependable, prompt, and flexibility. I always had a passion in caring for people; My mother has been in the medical field, so i always looked up her; I'm most proud of becoming a certified HHA after the pandemic hit.

As a young teenager, I would help give care to my great grandma as well as her home health nurses that came in and worked endlessly to make sure she had the best day she possibly could have. Seeing how drastically her days would change depending on who walked through the door, it lead to me wanting to go to college to become a nurse. If I could choose anyone to care for my loved one, I would want someone like me to give the position to. I have seen how illnesses can make someone, once so prideful, feel as if they aren't worthy anymore. My main goal is to make sure that, even on the bad days, your loved one would feel as if they were still as independent as they used to be and that they know they can rely on and trust their care giver. I would work endlessly to give your loved one the care and love that they deserve. I have many years of experience in this area. I attended Pioneer Technology Center in my high school years in order to receive my CNA license, I am currently enrolled at Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater to become an EMT, and after completing my course there, I will re-enroll at Northern Oklahoma College to complete my BSN. My current schedule is very flexible with my classes being Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I hope to be able to work with you and your family soon!

Helping taking care of my papa is what made me wanna have this job. I enjoy most helping and putting a smile on someone's else's face. My job and helping others feel like someone cares for them.
