Patience,Compassion, Attentiveness,Dependability, and Trustworthiness. What attracted me to become a caregiver is caring for somone who needs it,BeingNeeded, Feeling Accomplished, Finding personal strength and increasing confidence, Giving back to tired families, Character Building, Developing new skills, Learning to value the present, Making a real difference and Making somoene smile. What I enjoy about being a care giver is helping people and making a difference in their lives. A Personal achievement that I am proud of is getting my BA degree.
I became a CNA/Certified CPR for the elderly because I absolutely love the elderly and feel they deserve respect in the fullest degree! I love helping people and truly go over & beyond for my clients. I am very trustworthy, dependable, and I am a very hard worker and I am a true friend and I'm very compassionate about what I do for sure!
My journey into Home Health, Hospice and Caregiving started unexpectedly and quite personally. My then 16-year old daughter was diagnosed with a very rare malignant brain tumor. Fast forward 21 years. Although I enjoyed a very successful career as an IT Consultant, it was not emotionally satisfying. I am a caregiver at heart. I have cared for a young woman, now a young adult since her diagnosis with muscular dystrophy as a child. This is on an as-needed basis and she now enjoys independence in her own home. Working with my elderly families has been extremely rewarding. And caring for someone in their final season of life is something God put me on this earth to do. I raise an amazing teen granddaughter and she keeps me young at heart. Her love for pets keeps me on my toes with her two dogs, one cat and Waldo - her turtle. I am enrolling in the WINGS program and will receive my Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA)/Home Health Aide Certification in early 2019. This will be immediately followed by their Medication Management Certification program. Although I have performed in these roles and more for two decades, I have only recently decided to accomplish these Certifications. *Note, Any overnight, weekend or holiday shifts will be on an exception basis only*
I have worked in the past at the Cardiology Clinic in Muskogee as a receptionist. Mainly I have been a mother, housewife and caregiver! I am a Christian and attend Church on the Move in Tulsa or Broken Arrow! I have a great sense of humor, extremely over the top positive attitude, and caring nature! I am blessed to have worked for some of the best people ever too! I have been fortunate to have found my past clients and am now looking for more work! It's a wonderful feeling to bring happiness, laughter and companionship to another human being! This is what life should be about!
I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and board certified in physical therapy. I have extensive physical medicine training as well as general emergency response training. I have been a caregiver in the past for nearly 3 years, coming early in the morning and back again in the afternoons. The woman I assisted with had COPD and a non-repairable fracture of her dominant arm. The gentleman was diagnosed with dementia, which rapidly developed before passing. Each had exceptionally difficult issues with specific activities, but we always got through it together. I enjoy conversation, in my industry we call it bedside manner, but I have always enjoyed the company of others. I always welcome anyone with a good story and a light heart into my life. My greatest personal achievments are my children. I wake up everyday trying to make them proud of their father.
Hello! My name is Dalese Williams, I am a 18 year old graduate currently going to school to receive my Pharmacy Technician License. I am outgoing, reasonable, very funny and easy to get along with. I also speak Spanish! My grandmother was my first caregiving job for about 3 years before she passed. The opportunity to get a chance to stay in-home and work really motivated me to become a caregiver. I enjoy most being able to connect with those I'm watching, listening to the stories they tell and being there so they feel safe. Personal achievements I am proud of: Graduating high school with my daughter! (Very though but we did it!)
I started out with babysitting but wanted to try something new. Since my parents are older, I enjoy hanging out with the older crowd. I help take care of my grandpa currently when my parents go out of town! I enjoy walks and talking about the weather or anything that makes me smile! I am married & going to school but I can work the caring around that. This summer I have a lake house on grand so I can even live there to help out with your loved one!!!
