I became a caregiver about 20+ years ago after raising my family. My brother was born with a disability and I seen how gentle and loving my mother was with him. I was born in the family of health professionals. Often times I watched my Mum treat people who were ill and those with wounds. I learned to exercise patience with a patient and to treat them with love and care. I once took care of a 90 year old man and the family were happy as their father sounded happier each passing day.
