With a Psychology degree, I am able to communicate effectively with both the client as well as the client's family members. I offer compassion and understanding to each individual's family. I have a strong personality and am able to encourage my clients to allow me to help them with the services that are best for them even when they are reluctant. I am able to help them maintain their dignity and independence while assisting them with their every day tasks. I became a caregiver in 2016 when my company lost it's grants. I evaluated what other avenues were available to me to share my years of counseling experiences. I decided that as a home health care aid, I could help both the client themselves and their families. I also raise 4 children which my youngest does the same job as me. I am very proud of my children too. I have a husband that has a blood clot in his brainstem and he has mini strokes all the time. I take care of him when that happens too.

I feel I am a great caregiver because I am empathetic, caring, charismatic, silly, I love to make my consumers smile and be happy. I became a caregiver for the following reasons there are never enough caregivers to go around, I have worked short handed in caregiving since I started. I enjoy helping my consumers live their life to best they can and I am willing to help any way I can to achieve that goal. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is definitely being the best mom, person, friend, I can be and also being myself.

I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years and enjoy caring for others and improving their quality of life. I am a Respiratory Therapist and have an Associates degree as a Medical Office Assistant. I also am a volunteer time with my local Volunteer Fire Department as the President, Captain of the K9 Search and Rescue Team as well as a K9 Handler and an EMT. I became interested in being a caregiver when I was a teenager when I took care of my Grandmother and saw the challenges she endured in her life as she aged. I also have a diploma in Canine Obedience trainer and Veterinary Assistance. I feel my greatest achievement is nationally certifying 2 different K9s at 3 levels of trailing to help locate lost and missing people.

I am a caring compassionate person with the ability to understand people from all aspects of life. I have my own light that seems to shine to others that I am around. I love people of all ages and all types. I strive in helping people no matter what I do. I pay attention to detail and the little things most people would bypass. The people around me. I have an amazing son and value family life and will treat your loved one like my very own family.

I am a very caring and trustworthy person. I knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I learned that there are so many people out there that just need a helping hand. Someone who will help them and not judge. I love helping others with their ADL's and anything else they may need. My own personal achievement that I am proud of, I became a Certified Nursing assistant (CNA).

I am a well educated individual with an associates degree as a Medical Assistant. I enjoy taking care of people! I have a lot of experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, and patients with brain deficiencies. I treat my patients exactly how I would like my family to be taken care of and that is full of love and respect.

I became a caregiver because my dad started getting sick, then we soon found out he had cancer. I knew he needed care 24/7. After he passed I continued my career and got my CNA and worked 3 years at a nursing home, and have realized that isn't for me. I have decided to move onto home health care where I can be 1:1 with people.

It's so amazing to grow and bond with someone that you know needs you some individuals don't always have family members so you become their family members. One of my personal achievements I am very proud of is I passed my CNA class test but was unable to take my test due to COVID-19. But I am still very grateful for being able to push myself and show that I could do the work. And one day be able to go to college and receive my lpn.
