Hi! I've been in the home heath field for approximately 16 years on and off. I started in the nursing field at age 15 as a CNA working in a nursing home. I also worked in a Personal Care Home for 6 years. I enjoy taking care of seniors and individuals with disabilities. I love being able to care for others and the rewarding feeling that comes within. I'm a pround mom of 2 remarkable adult children and four amazing granddaughters!

I am very love helping others and getting them back on there feet.I have been a cna for 19 years. I love my job. I am also attending college to become a social worker.I love helping assist people in need with their daily living. I take care of my patients as if it is me taking care of my parents or loved ones. I take care of my mother who has had 12 stokes and she is strong she is my biggest role model no matter what life throws you never give up help thos in need and give when u can and you will be blessed. I have been taking care of my daughter for the past 18 yrs but when she was only 5 years old she suffered a TBI and we have been thru so much together she has taught me to reach out to others shes my inspiration to do all this

I have a great deal of empathy as well as compassion and patience. I make sure my clients are always treated with the upmost respect. I have always had a desire to help others. Being in the healthcare field allows me to live out those dreams and desires by offering, physical, mental or emotional support to others when they need it the most. I've been a caregiver since the 70s. I started out as a blue bell to candy stripe. Then on on to care giver and EMT-D. I ran with the ambulance and fire department. I worked in hospitals and nursing homes in PA and NJ. I am now working as a unit clerk/caregiver/sitter at TCH, and private hire on the side. I love what I do. I enjoy being with people who need help that I can provide. They are family to me ,mother, brother, father or sister. I care for them as my family. I stay through it all, better times and bad times. Being a caregiver is very rewarding to me. I have been in health care my whole life. I did take time off to raise a family of 2 boys and 4 girls. while I was raising my family I also took in foster children, new born to teenager in MI and TN.

I have been giving care for 10+ years and exclusively the last 5 years. I have a variety of skills and experience and am always willing to learn more so I can ensure your loved one is getting the best care possible. I have done simple companion care with a client who can still fully function but just needs some help to hospice- bedridden care and worked with nurses who come into the home, gone on Doctors appointments, done therapy and prescribed exercises, etc. But it's not just the medical care I provide- I also can make an excellent homecooked meal (not really into too much of the processed and junks foods so if you really want healthy good cooking- I'm your girl), keep a clean environment (no cross-contamination) a great listener, sing, play music and really try to have a good time with the person I am caring for. Does your loved one like certain activities? Then it's a priority for me to make them happen. Whether it's to go to a senior center and participate in an activity or do something at home- music, reading, catching up on a show they like, puzzles, games, taking a walk- I'm flexible and very open to doing what they love and to keep doing at long as we can so your loved one enjoys life to the fullest. Lastly, I keep you updated on anything and everything you want to know about the care being given. Often I get to the point where I can anticipate a need and will work with you to ensure the quality of care and comfort is never compromised when possible.
