I'm a great caregiver because I enjoy being patient with people that are not ambulatory or have difficulties in later age with their mobility. My mother was a nurse and I believe I was born for this career. I love taking care of clients and being able to help and be a listening ear to them. I treat people the way that I would someday want to be treated. I graduated PHI THETA KAPPA, and I received a Gold Letter Award in 1992 for my knowledge of 10,000 Medical Terms. I remained on the CNA certification list from 1989-2009 with no complaints on file. I attended AUGUSTA UNIVERSITY for my first 2 years and continued toward obtaining my Associate of Arts Degree from EAST GEORGIA STATE COLLEGE. I graduated May 2017 with a major in Psychology. Having this degree also qualifies me to work sufficiently in the Healthcare field.

Hi there! My name is Lexis McGee and I believe that care giving is my one true calling in life. I have worked most recently with being a caregiver for children and loved it however I believe that making our older years the best that can be is something I would excel at. I have patience, understanding, and most of all, compassion. I am a person who loves to make someones else's day the best that it can be and making sure that I am part of the process to getting in that way. I have a big heart and a love for people which, I feel, makes me a great caregiver. Life is the most precious gift we have and I am here to make sure it stays that way all the way through.
I treat people the way they want to be treated like family, try to make them comfortable in they home.I don't like seeing people being hurt by other people wouldn't want that to happen to nobody in my family ,so I try to treat people good .I like talking to my clients listening to the good old days on how they used to do this and that so that I can encourage them to let's do somethings that they like.Being a caregiver gave me the chance to be able to take care of my own mother in the time of needs and she deserves so that 's what I give to my clients.
I am naturally a kind, caring, nurturing, and entertaining individual and that is why I think Nursing works so well for me. I recently completed my Associates of Applied Sciences degree, just one step to getting my BSN. My grandmother has lived with my family my entire life and that's where my nurturing nature started. In college I took care of my aunt 7 days a week until she passed away from ALS, and I loved being the only person she trusted in her most vulnerable hours. This time with her gave me extended experience with patients with very limited mobility or bound to a hospital bed, alternative feeding methods, ventilators, lifts, and plenty of at home physical therapy. I have a leader personality and good time management skills. It's truly a feeling I could never get tired of being called on by someone who absolutely needs my help, and I would love to be a calming constant for your family too!
