I have worked in the medical field as CNA in a hospital setting and nursing home setting for almost 10 yrs.. I enjoy taking care of people's loved ones, making them feel comfortable and cared for. Make them feel appreciated and not alone, that's its okay to let someone help. I'm very humble, respectful, caring, loving heart,and considerate towards others. I'm very patient. Hello, I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 20 years. I've always had a passion for caring for those who may be in need of healthcare services and assistance with maintaining dignity and as much as independence as possible. I am CPR certified, up to date on all vaccinations including COVID. I have experience with several areas of healthcare ranging from acute hospital, nursing home, hospice, disabilities and special needs, and home health. I enjoy being able to make someone's day better by providing a comforting ear, hand, smile, or personal care whenever needed. My whole family including my mother, aunt, sister, and sister in law all work in the healthcare field. I feel that honesty, trust, patience, caring are all personality traits it takes to be a great caregiver. Growing up I was always with my grandparents, always wanting to help my mom take care of others. I put others before myself. The most I enjoy about being a caregiver is the one on one time I get to spend with the client, get to know them, their likes and dislikes, try to let them be independent as possible. At the end of the day, knowing that I have helped someone in every way I can and cared for them and did my best I can gets me through each and everyday. I feel accomplished to provide care for anyone that needs it, and I do it with my utmost respect.
