I have been a nurse for 10 years. I am currently working in an administrative position within a doctor's office. I love my job but I miss being a "hands-on" nurse. I began my career as a nurse aid in an assisted living facility and I immediately knew that I had found my calling. I have a true passion for helping others. Providing hands-on assistance is rewarding, but getting to know my clients and work to improve their situation or outlook is what I strive to do. Whether it's through preparing meals, cleaning house, assisting with bathing and grooming, running errands, or just spending time bonding with my client I strive to make my visit something that they look forward to. Those that know me say that I have a servant's heart. I spend my time at my full time job looking for ways to improve care. I spend my time off with my family or volunteering/ fundraising for nonprofits. I pride myself on my love for others and treat everyone as if they are my family.
I am very compassionate and I am very loving and kind. I am teachable. My grandmother when I was in high school she had a stroke and we very good care of her till she passed for 14yrs. I take the time to study my patient and get to know them. I pay very close attention to them. But I do give God all the glory because it's my heavenly father that has anionted me to do this job. I will care for your love one like there my own.

I also help the Amish in Ohio with elderly care medical instruction and medications. I enjoy working with elderly people and being an individual with fibromyalgia myself I understand and can relate to a person experiencing pain and disability. My mother was a nurse and worked until her 70,s. I worked in the funeral industry after retiring from nursing. I attend church on sundays and enjoy my grandchildren here in Greenville.
Hello, Niera here! I am a very outgoing, loving, caring, happy, and all around funny person. My favorite thing about me is my uplifting spirit, I enjoy making other people happy and seeing a smile on other faces makes me happy. Being a caregiver is about building that bond and trust with your client and as caregiver I will always provide that along with some fun. I am proud to say in December of 2020 I will be graduating Limestone College with a degree in Social Work and will start working on my MSW so I can continue to pursue my dream in helping people.
I care for others as if they are my own family. My way of thinking is treat them as I'd want someone caring for my grandparent/parent to be treated. I became a caregiver after watching my grandfather being cared for. I love being a caregiver. Since childhood I wanted to be a nurse but since becoming an stna I prefer the one on one vs just giving them their medication. I completed my two year medical assistant degree.

I BECAME A CAREGIVER, TO BRING LOVE AND SMILE TO OTHERS. I AM PROUD OF WHAT I DO AND I LOVE WHAT I DO. I LOVE SEEING THE JOY THAT COMES WITH GIVEN GOOD EXCELLENT CARE. I CARED FOR MY DAD WHO WAS SICK FOR FOUR YEARS BEFORE HIS PASSING, AND IT GIVES ME GREAT JOY, TO SHARE THE SAME COMPASSION WITH SOMEONE ELSE.
I am a hard-working, attentive, compassionate, and conscientious caregiver, and have found helping seniors to be very rewarding. I was privileged to work for a family for the past 8+ years, providing care and support to my employer's wife as she battled Alzheimer's Disease. I provided supervision and companionship, assisted with all ADL's and as the disease advanced, provided end of life care when she became bedridden. It was a very slow, sad journey for her (and her family and caregivers), but I consider myself blessed to have been a part of her caregiving team!
I believe you need to have a passion for caregiving to be a good caregiver, which I developed as a young child. My mother has been a caregiver since I've been a little girl and I would go with her at times to do Meals on Wheels on days off from school. I would also want to tag along when she would volunteer at the local nursing homes. I would see the excitement on their face and feel the reward of being there with her. From those moments I knew I wanted to follow her foot steps. You can not treat caring for someone as " a job." You must treat the individual as you would your own family member by being patient, kind, understanding, sympathetic and loyal. I have the experience and know what to do in many situations. I have a letter of recommendation from a past client's family member and many references.
