Mature woman. I've done home care for over fifteen years . I really enjoy my senior clients, find their views and experiences very interesting. I can hold an intelligent conversation, but also try to be aware of giving people their space/ quiet times. I now do mostly companion care. My clients are still somewhat mobile. Wheelchair or walker . No heavy lifting (stand-by assist )

I have been in the home health field for six years going on my seventh year the end of August. I have always have the heart to help others. I started my career and I fell in love instantly. The most rewarding aspect of this job is being able to be apart of individuals lives and hearing about their lives while growing! I have worked with individuals multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, Cereal palsy, and much more, from veterans, and individuals with mental disabilities.

I have an enlightening personality. I bring Sunshine of warmth and happiness to my clients. I am a Caregiver, Field Trainer and Transporter. I also have training of Dementia, Chronic Disease, Cultural Competency and Mental Illness. I have cared for my grand parents and other family members most of my life. I also respect the Veterans that i serviced. I enjoy being around the elderly by listening and learning from them. I am Proud that i have increased the value of ones life.

I find being a caregiver very gratifying and meaningful. I also enjoy making people smile. I feel my best personal achievement as a caregiver has been when my clients tell me I am the best part of their day, and they love to spend time with me.

I overly care for all people, I've worked with several different caregiver companies. I've always loved helping elderly/disabled people. I enjoy the clients the most. They mean so much to me. I've worked in health care since I turned 18 and I love it. I've done it for so long I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

I started care giving about 18 years ago and absolutely love it! You meet all kinds of people and it's always interesting. I have a natural need to take care of people. :-)

Caring for others has always been my nature and has brought me happiness and great meaning throughout my life. I spent alot of my teenage years taking care of my grandmother, staying with her on weekends instead of going out with my friends. In the early 90's I founded Noah's Ark Ministries. I became an activist for the homeless mentally ill and women and children. Along the way I discoved several seniors that were without any caring family and found volunteers to provide care and company for them. Two elderly gentlemen I provided care for moving one of them in my home as he had dementia.. In 98 I began attending Johnson Bible College. Due to my mothers passing I had to move in with my dad my senior year. I had planned on becoming a missionary but after a couple of years he began to develop dementia. I felt I could not abandon him and spent the next 12 years taking care of him until he went to be with the Lord. I believe the well being of others being a hogh priority, kindness and love are the most impotant qualities in someone to trust that person with your loved one.
