I took care of my father, in our home, for over 8 years before he passed away on Mother's day 2019. I managed his medication, cleaned the house, made his meals, washed his clothes, helped dress and gave him baths. I assisted him in walking and eating. I delt with insurance companies and doctors offices. I took him to and from the doctor. Changed bandages and just sat and talked to him. I now take care of my mother, in almost the same way.
