Three years ago, my grandmother was diagnosed with Stomach and lung cancer. Shortly after her diagnosis, she had a stroke and was unable to do much of anything for herself. I took care of my grandparents until my grandma passed away last year. My favorite part was helping the patients to achieve things they thought that they couldn't by offering them an arm to hold onto and some encouraging words.
