I am an outgoing individual, so it helps me connect with residents easier, I am not just a caregiver, but a friend as well to my residents. I wanted to become a caregiver because when my grandmother was ill I always wanted to help take care of her and assist her. I enjoy helping people who are unable to assist themselves anymore. Three years ago, my grandmother was diagnosed with Stomach and lung cancer. Shortly after her diagnosis, she had a stroke and was unable to do much of anything for herself. I took care of my grandparents until my grandma passed away last year. I realized that helping people was something that I really valued and took a job as CNA at the hospital and loved the work I did there. My favorite part was helping the patients to achieve things they thought that they couldn't by offering them an arm to hold onto and some encouraging words.

I love being a caregiver and helping others is what I love to do. I have over 6 years in experience caring for the elderly. My personality traits consist of being trustworthy, loving, caring, and having understanding and energetic. I am very trustworthy with what I say. I am very caring to others and will put their feelings first, I show love and compassion when it comes to helping others. I am supportive and will help you to do what you want to do. I am energetic and will get things done if needed or I can be laid back and spending it with someone who feels lonely. I am very good company and my previous clients and current clients will agree. I am a people person I love the elderly I do not like abuse and I think that they should go every day with a smile on their face and no worries they paid their debt to society and it's time for them to be old and be happy and be peaceful and I'm there to do that for them and help them no need to putting them in a nursing home when they are love to care for the home everything is fine they don't need a nursing home
