Hello! I Love being a caregiver. I am a certified PCA, I have training in HHA and in HCA and have 9 years experience. I am also CPR and AED certified. I have extensive experience in memory care as in Alzheimer, Dementia and stroke and much more. I provide assistance with daily living which includes reminders, personal grooming, physical therapy, meals, medication bathing feeding/tub feeding. I also try to provide a life of fulfillment which gives each individual an opportunity to have some companionship. I strive to maximum the quality of life to each individual in need of assistance by providing personalize high premier quality care that promotes a safe, healthy and caring environment. My motto is I cannot control the quantity of life but I can control the quality of life so my goal is to serve everyone with the premier care to give each individual the feeling of belonging. As being a caregiver each individual that I have the pleasure of serving knows that their respect and dignity is at the forefront of me serving them. Serving others in need is what attracted me to being a caregiver. It gives me a genuine sense of joy knowing that I'm able and willing to being that helping hand. Everyone is not built to be a caregiver and there are caregivers that are not there for the right reasons. I love seeing the look of gratitude on families faces when they see and know that their love ones are being taken great care of and it's done with Love!! Working on getting my Residential Assistant Living Facility license.
I love taking care of people, it makes me smile to see others happy and smile. I started this because I am good with others and I think the elderly deserve the best because they have put their time in and it's their time to be taken care of and for. I also have experience with caregiving
I am a very caring and dependable person. Although I haven't been working in this field for too long I am very dedicated to my job and take great pride into being a caregiver. I love meeting new people and learning about them as well as learning new things so I am very open minded. I would love to take care of your loved one and to soon become a friend.
I LOVE PEOPLE!!! I love caring for them! I spent a few years working as an EMT so I have Emergency Medical training as well as caregiver experience. I have been in college for the last 6 years and recently obtained my Masters Degree in Divinity (Biblical Study) and Christian Counseling. I am currently working on my PhD. I have been a licensed minister for 4 years and my last job was a Hospice Chaplain which I feel is my true calling in life. The reason being a caregiver also works for me is that I find that many of my clients are in the last years of their lives, and I enjoy being able to talk with them and help them and their family members with acceptance and ability to get things in order, such as working through their fears, problems with unforgiveness, and their spiritual condition. I don't preach to them, I listen and allow them to make their own decisions about their life. I may make suggestions, pray with them or for them if they desire, but never try to push my beliefs on them. I want to help them be at ease and comfortable in every area. I love the wisdom of the elderly and have learned so much from my clients. I have raised 6 daughters and 1 son, who is 15 now. I have 8 grandchildren that I adore. My husband and I have been married for 34 years. I guess that being a mom and a wife really puts my care giving experience at 34 years instead of just a few. I can provide excellent references and am trustworthy, dependable, cheerful, and compasionate.
I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people who are in need of help. I like that I can clean and cook for other people and that I can interact and get to know the person. I am proud of acheiving my CNA license in 2009. My name is Gabrielle Gutierrez. I am 24 years old and I have 3 kids whom I love. I enjoy working and helping people out. I am currently going to college online to get my Associate in Medical Administrative Assistant.
I believe I'm a great caregiver. I love my patients like they're family. I'm loving and sweet. I'm calm and patient with any situation I am in. The man I took care of became very close to my heart before he passed away. He was like a second father to me.. I help him with anything and everything he needed. If he wanted me to stay over and spend time with him I did.. I enjoyed cooking for him. Walking around town with him. If that what he wanted to do for the day. We watch movies together. Shared stories. If he need me when it was after hours I would go over help him with whatever he may have wanted.
I am an awesome caregiver because I'm more than JUST a caregiver, I'm a companion. I chose this field because it's in my heart and is very rewarding. I'm able to work in just about any given conditions and I'll make the most of it. I strive to be a great caregiver because it's what our elderly clients deserve. I am compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy.
Hello, everyone, My name is Antha Smith and i have been a caregiver for over 13 years.I love to keep a smile on the face of different clients each day!Well, over 11 years ago, i lost my best friend and husband. He fell over 35 feet ; on the job.He was a welder. When i married him, he was already hurt. Even though he was very independent; i later became his care taker, wife and homehealthcare provider also.I loved him and took care of him for over 11 years., until he expired. He only wanted me to bath him and take care of him. After that, it appears as though providing positions were the only jobs that opened to me.I love doing what i do natural. And that is love and take care of people. Thanks for listening. Sincerely, Your new caregiver
