I love being able to help people and take care of them. My grandmother was my best friend but she recently passed away and since then Iv felt drawn to being a caregiver and helping others and just giving them someone to talk to. I have 2 beautiful children who are my life and I want a job I'm able to be on their schedule also. I recently finished medical assistant school which was a big accomplishment for me to go back to school at my age. Over all I'm a very happy, loving person who loves to see other smile.

I am a very positive and happy person. I like to keep busy whether sitting and listening or light housekeeping. I enjoy encouraging others. I usually find a bright side in all circumstances. I can relate to losing ones independence as I faced that issue 21 years ago due to an injury. It is no fun and can be devastating. I'm doing fine now. That is basically what led me to caregiving when I could not continue my bookkeeping career. Having started caregiving, I found I love it. I love listening to stories of back in the day. I used to love to listen to my grandmothers stories even as a child. I am patient and very compassionate.

My personality traits, being attracted to being a caregiver, and why I enjoy being a cargiverfor are that I truely enjoy caring for clients in their own homes. I am a very fast learner, very organized, reliable, hard-working, have good transportation, and always strive to perform my very best at any job I do. I am also very excellent at completing my paperwork on time. My most most personal achievement as being a caregiver/RN in the home health care environment is the one time I felt I really helped a client out with her disability. I had a client a few years ago that had been unable to leave her home due to the fact that she didn't have a wheelchair ramp attached to her home. She was unable to go down her front steps for about 3 years due to her arthritis in her legs. Thru lots of research, I was finally able to find a traveling church group that would donate their time helping clients in need by building them home improvements to help them. I was able to get up with them to have them come to her home and build her a wheelchair ramp. I was so happy for her, that we both cried. That was one of my best days on the job!

I love being a caregiver! There's no more rewarding job in the world. I love meeting new people and caring for them. I've met some really special people throughout the years who will hold a place in my heart forever.

I'm always happy and I love being able to be a helping hand to someone who needs it and seeing my patients happy makes me happy

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I also enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way.
