I genuinely love being able to take care of people and especially the elderly. I have always been very passionate about being there for the elderly and taking care of them as if they're my own grandparents. I have overcome a lot of fear I had with being around new people and new surroundings, and working with the elderly has taught me a lot of life skills, and most importantly being patient. I try to be the best caregiver I can be. My grandma has been sick my whole life I see how bad she needs company and help and I want to be there to help people. I have my certificate and want to go back to school to get more involved with nursing. I will do everything I can to make sure my patient is in good hands and always taken care of.

I am a mother of 2 toddlers and I feel that the elderly need just as much help, love, and care as a toddler. I can dress, change, cook, clean, bathe. I know how to tell whether the water in bathtub is too hot or too cold for someone.(check with either wrist or elbow) I know how to give insulin to diabetic patients.(My grandmother was insulin dependent and she taught me to shake up insulin, draw it up in the syringe, and to give the shot in the belly, or back underside of the arm.) I know how to deal with patients who have incontinence.(I have incontinence due to an overactive bladder, my mom had incontinence, my grandmother had incontinence.) I know how to deal with cancer patients. (My mother had breast cancer, and died of uterine cancer and was on hospice. My grandmother had breast cancer, colon cancer that metastasized to the lungs and died of brain cancer) My grandmother had four different types of cancer throughout her life, had myasthenia gravis(a form of muscular dystrophy), glaucoma, high blood pressure, manic depression, OCD, anxiety, diabetes(insulin dependent), and was a nurse. My mother was a medical assistant and medical administrative assistant, my aunt is a nurse, and when I was a teenager my mother still had all of her medical terminology dictionaries which I studied because I want to be an ultrasound technician and massage therapist. I want this job to get some healthcare jobs under my belt before going into what I want to be because it will look better on me having awesome work ethics which everyone knows work ethics begins within the home. I am very compassionate, kind hearted, an empath, have sympathy for everything and everyone around me, have a very big heart, and want to give back to those who deserve it which I think the people who deserve it the most is our veterans and the elderly.

I supported my father for 20 years until he passed 5 years ago ensuring he maintained his independence and lived life to the fullest. With a "can do" attitude and a passion to help others. People tell me I have the patience of an Angel. Dedicated, energetic and always with a smile ensuring confidentiality at all times.

A little about me... I've been a certified nurses aide for over 20 years. I've worked in nursing homes, private sitting and I've worked in Hospice for the past 10 years. I love what I do. Since i started working as a CNA, I've gone to school to do other things, but I keep coming back as a CNA, so I feel this is my passion. My children are grown and I have 3 amazing and beautiful grand children, and another on the way. That's a little about me....

Hey! My name is Kenzi jones. I've worked health care for 5 years now! Ive worked mainly assisted living facility's but have experience in home health. I normally assisted residents with activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals. Hi! First off, I admire the families that choose to hire someone to help their loved ones and not take the option of putting them in a nursing home. I have never been more content or more pleased then having a job as a caregiver. You're able to bring life back into the home, become apart of the family and commit yourself whole heartedly. I prefer to wear scrubs on the job. My job duties for the last 6 years as a caregiver w/ my most recent patient/s are as follows. . Cooking, cleaning, running errands such as groc shopping, driving them, pill mgmt and doctor appointments, I'm knowledgeable in Alz/ Dementia as well. As for the ladies I do gardening, decorating, manicure and pedicures as well as hair. I'm very organized and keep everyone on schedule. I'm a hard worker. I'm cpr/ first aid licensed and am also certified nursing assistant,I will take care of their bandages or any other wounds. I will go above and beyond for you and your family as if it's my own and I'm very good at keeping them company I have learned so much from bonding w/ the elderly. I love what I do. I won't let you down. I have commendable references also! Traveling is not an issue as long as it fits my schedule and it is the hourly wage is feasible.
