I helped a 50 year old lady to read write in cursive , voice her opinion and go to the prom for the first time. Which made me one proud provider.

I have grown up visiting nursing homes and delivering meals on wheels with my parents and then doing it with my children as well. I love being around the elderly because of the wisdom and history they share. I realize as people grow older they may not be able to care for themselves as well as they used to but yet are not bad enough to be put into nursing homes. They just need a little assistance to be able to stay at home. I have had my parents living next to me for 11 years. I love having them close.

The past couple years I have been working with children. Nannying, babysitting, taking care of them because I love to. But I've always had a huge love for the elderly and disabled. My grandmother has Alzheimer's and doesn't remember me, but I would still do anything for her!
