Hello my name is Esmeralda and I chose to be a caregiver at a young age I guess u can say . My grandmother raised me and she was the first person I took care of and I fell in love with it . I have patience and I love to sit with them and chat . They need someone to care for them as well as hear them out . Hear their stories hear them out , see their face light up knowing they are cared for . My only down fall is I get attached and it hurts my heart when I see them go . U loose a small piece of your heart . I love my job

I enjoy being able to assist and provide companionship to the elderly. Spending time and getting to know them while being able to meet their needs is gratifying. My long term goal is to be able to work with children and elderly, I am currently in school for Social Work.

What I like most as a caregiver is providing what they need such as being their extra hand at the time. Being companion to them, prepping their daily meals and assisting with their meds.

I'm a caregiver to my boyfriend. He's proud of what I do to him. I do every possible things that I can help him. I enjoy doing the work it's like doing things at my home. It's almost everything u do daily. U have to keep the house clean and cook. U also have to help with ur caregiver. I thought of being a caregiver since I retired already and that's only part time.

I started care giving with my grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/dementia. I found myself enjoying the time I spent with her and even after she passed I looked for a job in caring for the elderly. They enjoy ones company.

I'm a very hard worker dedicated to providing the best care and companionship possible. My background is in social work. I've worked in hospice, home health and previously as a nursing assistant. My previous work as been as a social worker for the state department of child protective services and recently as a youth care worker. I love to read and get to know the life stories of who and why we are who we are.

As a great caregiver I try to remain very positive all the time. I am an honest and trust worthy person Being patient, responsible, dependable and have great communication skills with my patients is at the most important to me. As a caregiver I am very empathetic towards my patients and compassionate, it is what establishes a great relationship with each patient. Understanding the patients needs and desires to be able to take care of them efficiently is at the most important to their family and myself. It is what makes work environment healthier and understanding for patient and healthcare worker. I became a caregiver to be able to help those who cant help themselves, to try and help them build the confidence some may have lost during some difficult moments they must have gone through if it may have been through some therapy, or a on going treatment they are still facing. Offer those encouraging words we all need to hear from time to time, show them some one cares if they have no one else to turn too. Being a caregiver gives me great feeling knowing that I have made a difference in someones life. When I see a patient has recovered more that 50 percent it gives me great joy to know I have made a difference in someones life. To have a patient to being speechless to even a good morning is a huge difference to me. Its what makes me want to go to work every day and know I will continue to make a difference in someones life.

I am a caring compassionate and love to be around people!!! I can provide superior care and at the same time spend quality time w patients who may need so help to obtain the life they so need to thrive in their everyday life to be happy and bring a precious smile to their face!!! I come all of that and more!!! I come w plenty of experience in geriatrics, Alzheimer's, adults with special needs/disabilities, autism, and or specialty diseases.

i'm know to be loving kind patient hardworking well i've always been a care giver even when i had my own jobs i have taken care of family friends for many years and i love people i concentrate on people's positive cualidades i enjoy people's friendship and the elderly have much experience in life that their awaking stories benefit me from their company i have many things i'm proud of i know how to do many things but one that is the foremost important one and first in my life is to learn and teach the bible which has brought me to have many loving friends and to have their love and friendship i think says a lot about the person i am so to if changed my life to the better is something i'm happy for
