I am an Occupational Therapy student going through my last rotation before graduation. I'm caring, kind, and attentive. Through school, I have gained skills that will make me a competent and mindful caregiver.

My personality traits would be loving, caring, trustworthy, professionalism, dependability, accuracy, willing to learn if I am not aware of the clients needs, patient, communicative. I enjoy being a caregiver because it takes a lot of patience, and the feeling of gratitude you get is amazing. A personal achievement I am mostly proud of is my trustworthiness. I have worked with many clients in the past and if there is something I aim to achieve is to build that trust with my clients because I want them to feel comfortable around me. I will work hard to provide the best environment for them as a caregiver.

Being a good caregiver has to do a lot with your bond/relationship with your patient. My grandpa is one of the many reasons that attracts me to being a good caregiver because I always did my absolute best to give him everything that he ever needed(help wise). I enjoy the bond that you get to have with patient. Ive done plenty of good things but when I started taking care of my grandpa I felt like it was something I could do for the rest of my life but for the same reason because of the relationship and bond that I had with him.

I am caring, patient, empathetic and hard working. I put myself in my clients shows so I can know how to help them best.

I am patient, compassionate, and supportive towards my patients. Personally growing up, I took care of my grandfather and my mother, taking them to doctors appointments and following up on surgeries and treatments. I enjoyed helping them out and understanding them when they felt like nobody else did. I value the companionship, building cherished memories; willing to make a difference in their lives. An achievement I am proud of would be me taking on the journey of enrolling in school to become a registered nurse and providing care to others will be a learning experience for my career.

I try to remember that they unsure about everything around them so I make it a point to be their friend and make them comfortable My grandparents they made me wanna be a care giver Interacting with the patients and watching their personality come out once they are comfortable Im proud that I can make my resident comfortable and happy . I like seeing their humor come out .

Hi there! My name is Lori, short for Lorena. Im a dependable, caring, loving, hardworking caregiver. Having a passion to be a caregiver means the world me. Having to help people in need makes me feel wonderful. I can't imagine my life without helping one another. It all started when I was in 4th grade knowing that one of my friends needed help with school work and keeping his desk tidy. I was one of the few students who would voulenteer in helping any student out. Growing up made me realize that I have a passion for helping others out. This is what attracted me to become a caregiver as I grew older. I enjoy companionship the most when it comes to being a caregiver. I rememeber how one of my clients was loosing his ability to walk due to dementia and how I would have him by my side helping him to walk back and forth in his living room as I had a wheelchair behind him incase he need to rest. I would also give him some leg excersise to help him keep his stregenth so that he would continue to walk. This is one of my personal achievement that I am proud of. I am always willing to go the extra mile for my clients.

I am a very outgoing and humble person. I have a heart for my patients. I have always worked with older patients and I've never had any issues with assisting them to their needs. I enjoy keeping them company and helping them with their everyday needs. I am proud of where I am now. I have been taking care of my patients in need for many years that my current position speaks louder than words of my skills and experience.

I make a great caregiver because I love meeting people and making new friendships. I enjoy building trusting relationships. I am good with children and naturally have a lot of patience and enjoy keeping up with their energy. I have constantly taken care of my sisters and brothers children. I have also cared for my father in times of need. I am also working on becoming an elementary school teacher and feel that the strategies and methods of child development I have learned can be beneficial as a caregiver.

I worked as a CNA for over 10 years but due to personal reasons I had to leave my job. Now I would like to work as a caregiver since it would be a job that I feel is something that I have great experience with.
