I consider myself a great caregiver because I go above and beyond to make sure my residence get the best care. I have a kind heart and plenty of patience and I have the desire to help those that are in need. I love to make my residence happy, comfortable and I love to see them smile. One of my personal achievements was being there by my grandmothers side while she was diagnosed with dementia and making every moment a special one.

I have been involved in healthcare since the age of 15 , starting as a "candy striper" volunteer and worked in many areas of the hospital until of age to work in Emergency Medicine. I have been an active EMT/ Paramedic with both volunteer and career departments and taken part in evaluating home safety checks for residents. As a healthcare professional, I have worked in various hospitals and am very knowledgeable in diseases, aging process and treatments. I have a soft heart for our Veterans with several Veteran family members. I love people and enjoy conversing with elders that have so much to share.

What I enjoy the most is building a bond and being apart of the recovery process. My biggest achievement in care giving was being able to help my mom over a period of two years recover from her Ru in y Gastric bypass surgery. Prior to her surgery she had diabetes and kidney disease for 3 years and didn't think she would make it to the age of 40. After her surgery I was apart of the recovery process and seeing her healthy and free of diabetes and kidney disease has been the best experience and biggest accomplishment in my life. Therefore I want to continue and help others because its what I truly love to do.
