I get along with anyone and everyone. I was attracted to become a caregiver when I was needed to help care for a few family members and I grew to love it. I enjoy being there to help in any way shape or form that I am needed. I am proud of being who I am an love that fact that I can share the love by helping others.

I am a caring and giving person. I treat my clients as if they are family with respect. I know how to reroute behavior if they are having a bad day. Being in a good mood around clients is what gets them through the day. I strive for them having a nice time. I became a caregiver when I worked for Cedar Lane Apts and the Director saw how I treated the Assisted Living. One client was difficult but she loved me so they ask if I can be her caregiver in 2003. I been doing it every since. I enjoy seeing the looks on my clients face when they are happy. I enjoy putting them in a good mood. I love our outings I'm proud that the families brag on me and the staff appreciated me. I'm proud that I got to sometimes put them to bed comfortable. I'm proud to wear my scrubs

As a long term caregiver, I am not only very loving and genuine, but I believe that entering into a career choice such as caregiving should be something that one is passionate about. I myself have grown up with family who have selflessly given their time, love and attention to others. I have a natural gift of helping and serving. I would never choose to care for people for just monetary purposes. I have helped care for people since I was a teenager, helping my mom with her clients. I honestly love to serve. I feel fulfilled knowing that I'm able to assist somebody. Being needed is my joy. It motivates me. I care about people's wellbeing as if they are my own family. I have served with a wide variety of people over the last 15 years. I worked in assited facilities, live-in care, and daily care. I have an extensive history with serving elderly and I love what I do. I am very easy to work with. I go above and beyond for people. I dont mind working long hours to help however I can. I look at caregiving as a lifestyle I would hope someone would give my family or myself when needed someday.

Hello Im Jayla Bright . I am 22 years old and I was born on July 29, 2000. I received my certified nursing assistant certificate in 2018 at a technical school through my high school , then I was able to graduate with a certified nursing assistant certificate. While being a certified nursing assistant I have been able to build more skills in the medical field which also helps me in the work setting . I have a great personality and I'm always willing to help and always for team work .

my thinking is that the cleint has done all the things for friends and family through there lifetime now its time for them to get that care in return. No matter if its just to take them to the store or doctor appointment. Or cleaning them up , trying to get them to laugh to have a great day! they deserve it!!!

I have always wanted to help people and I get a lot of satisfaction knowing I have made a difference in someones's life. I know that helping a person to live their life to it's fullest makes me a better person and the love I receive from my clients is incomparable.

I am compassionate, high sense of empathy. I am detail oriented, fast learner, very clean and organized. During my undergraduate career I worked as a LifeLink Student Mentor. A student mentor is usually a college student who accompanies young adults who suffer different disabilities to college classes, help them take notes or anything they may require help with. The program was designed to help those young adults experience the college atmosphere after graduating high school. I have also worked with senior citizens, kept them company, prepared meals for them, gave them medicine, cleaned their houses, helped them bathe and change their clothes. What attracted me the most, is all the different personalities I met, all the stories and wisdom individuals shared with me. I got to experience the world through their eyes. For example, when I worked as a student mentor, I did not realize there is adults and college students who did not understand disabilities and were so ignorant to laugh at them. I never imagined people can be so cruel, but I was happy I was there for them to protect them and defend them. It broke my heart when I first experienced such ignorance. The achievement I am proud of most, which I don't think was very special, is getting accepted into Pennsylvania State University. I came to the United States in the year 2005, I came from a country where I wasn't taught English. I was able to teach myself English, I excelled in my high school that I was the only student who is getting paid to tutor other ESL students in Math, I made honor roll in the first semester. I got an outstanding grade in my SAT that got me into PSU with scholarship fully paid. So, this is about, I hope it wasn't too long or boring. Looking forward to meeting and working for you.
