I am dedicated to providing excellent care to my clients, I feel it shows when I come in to see my clients are excited to see me, I love to bring a smile to my client's because I feel sometimes that's all it takes to change a outlook on a situation is a smile and a caregiver who really cares as I do . I enjoy helping Eldery and my goal is to make sure each of my clients have nice day everyday.

I love my career as a caregiver (CNA).I have been doing this for over 25 years. And I strive to be the best every day. Listening and try to know my client's needs are my utmost goal every day on the job. I love to see the Joy I am able to bring and the peace of mind to my clients every day knowing I am showing up no matter what to help them through the day.

I have always been a care giver. Not always in the work field, but even as a child it was in me to care for everything. I always thought it was my duty to care for anyone and everything. Started with animals (some of which didn't need care according to their owners ha) and went to vet assistant. Then to opening a day care and caring for children. After the day care I was a school bus driver. When I could no longer drive a big bus physically I became a CNA and will stay such until my retirement. My heart is to tender to work in big facilities where I observed care takers having to rush to get their work done and to many older folks sitting around with no one to talk to. I knew it wasn't the CNA's fault, but my heart hurt after my internship at a great facility. It was then I knew I could not work for a facility. When I worked for an agency, I saw that they truly didn't care who they placed with who, had policies that limited our ability to actually be a friend to our clients and it was more about the profit than if the workers or clients were happy. So this led me to become a private care giver. I can work cheaper than what someone would pay an agency and there are no rules saying I can't get attached to my client! I truly care, and won't be told not to. I do realize that sometimes chemistry isn't right, but at lease we can discover it rather than just being thrown together and expected to work. I currently have one client and can add one more. I keep my hours limited so my schedule can be easily tailored to yours. I am a respite care giver. Meaning I am a permeant relief caregiver. I will do over nights a couple days a week, and 2- 5 hour shifts during the day. This is all negotiable! I haven't been a paid caregiver for long so couldn't list many years. But my experience is much longer, and my training is fresh and continuing.

Caring for our seniors is perhaps the greatest responsibility we have, those who walked before us have given so much and made possible the life we all enjoy. I love care-giving to those that would otherwise not be able to do so, the the smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel that I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people, so I know I am doing the right thing. The thing I like best about being a caregiver is meeting new people and providing care-giving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no expectations or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work I've been known to be quite good at doing so. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client's day, I even enjoy watching their favorite television shows with them, that means a lot to me, I feel that's more rewarding than any paycheck can ever be. It is important to laugh. I always treat my clients as if they were my family and I care, love and protect them. I have been a home caregiver for eight years, I took great care of my grandmother and mother as well. I started a family of my own within this time frame. I am a certified nursing assistant. I have a lot of in home care-giving experience. I love to exercise, hike, bike-riding, cooking and eating healthy. I'm very open minded, love talking with and interacting with my clients, companionship is a great deal to me, I have achieved many goals in my life and learned not set too many at once it prevents the discouraging nature and set backs, one of my favorite goals of completion and success is becoming a health and wellness fitness coach. I live a healthy lifestyle, I love to make a positive difference in people lives.

I am a health care professional and have ranked house manager ability at a disability services company in San Diego. I have loved what I do while making a difference in peoples lives that are vulnerable and struggle I attain many certificates on hand and look forward to making a positive difference and problem solve. I am a passionate worker, who finds joy in helping others of all ages. I stumbled into caregiving my freshman year of College and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Some interests of mine include the outdoors, animals of all kinds, drinking hot tea.

I chose to become a CNA and caregiver due to my extreme passion for caring for others. I am very patient, caring, friendly, and easy to get along with. I enjoy the satisfaction it gives me to see the smile on a clients face when they are finally able to take those first few steps I have been encouragingly help coach to after a rough knee surgery. Or when my client walks out into the once filthy and trashed kitchen only to see it sparkling clean while they inhale the scent of fresh lemons and a pleased smile cross their face. Those moments make all those days of 16hour shifts and nonstop madness when everyone on your floor is sick at the same time, worth every last tear, complaint, and restless minute. My compasion for others helps me shine as a caring, reliable, selfstarting, long time caregiver and companion.

I always wanted a job where I was going to be able to help others. There's nothing I enjoy the most than to make a difference in others life. I still have both of my parents, and everything I do is to help them. The day they need the assistance of a caregiver or someone to help them with their needs; who better than me to take care of them. That's why I always tread my clients how I would like others to tread my parents. I'm proud of who I'm and of everything I have done by my self.

So much I could write here. First off I think its important to remember that this is more than a job. Where ever I am whether it be a house or a facility I think its so important to remind yourself that you may be working but this is someones home and its not a job for them. I take care of people how I would like someone to take care of my family members. I am super positive person and very empathetic but understand the importance of getting things done especially when it comes to someones health.

My name is Dominique, and I'm 20 years old. I've been working in healthcare since I was 18. I began early on, taking care of my grandparents when I was 16 and 17. I assisted them and took on the role as a caregiver. I've worked temporarily in nursing homes but I'm most familiar with in home care and it's something I prefer most, it allows me to get close to my clients and truly focus on them. I'm a very patient person, and I love to give back which is partially why I chose to become a caregiver. I want to become a Midwife in a few years but continue caregiving on the side. I love making a difference and being someone that my clients can depend on. I enjoy making connections with my clients the most. Allowing them to be comfortable with me by receiving the best care possible from me, truly makes me feel great. Something I'm very proud of is always being recognized by the companies I've worked for. Although cashiering is very different from caregiving, I'm still dealing with people and helping them in some sort of way. I've always been recognized as a hard worker and someone that really cares about another persons needs. As a caregiver, I am always putting my clients needs first.
