After that I began working in facilities and Adult family homes. I currently have all of my CBRF certifications required by the state of Wisconsin. What makes me a great caregiver is that im in it and there for them. I got a big kind loving heart and enjoy spending quality time with them. I like to make them feel as their quality of life still has a meaning and just cause their age my prevent them from doing things as they did before it doesnt mean that that there life has stopped or aging has to be a sad time in their life and that it should be the best and most enjoyable time in their life. I come from a family of different ranking nurses with big hearts and know from the age of 8 that, that was my calling in life when my grandmother who also became my only mother i knew fell ill of leukemia which took her from me very fast and who i soon fell to caring for getting needles and shots and other such things to prolong her life i wanted and learned how to do this. The ongoing process of many hospitals everyday after school i lost what most kids had but to me it was worth every last miniute being able to spend them with her. To me this is my way of keeping her alive knowing that helping them and having understanding of them listening and laughing to me if i can do that then i make their lives that much better
