Being from Europe, I was taught growing up to respect the elderly, give a hand, open a door. As I was getting older I started caring for seniors in their own home or in residential assisted living homes licensed for 5 to 10 beds. In 1999 my mom opened a carehome in Phoenix & helped her with the care home until I opened my own in 2005. I owned & manage until 2009. Since then I've been doing private care in their own home. To be a real caregiver you must care for seniors with your heart. I have references upon request.
