I am by nature a people person, I enjoy helping others. I started caring for mentally disabled children when I was quite young, and then started going to the nursing home and helping residents in my spare time when I was still young. As an adult, I started working in nursing homes as a caregiver. Often going in on my days off to make sure that my clients got the extra attention that they deserved. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that what I provide allows someone the opportunity to stay in their own home for as long as possible. I treat each person the way I would want to be treated myself or the way I would want my family members to be treated.
