Ever since I was little I always knew I wanted to work in the medical field so that I could help others. My dream is in the process of becoming a reality as I am currently in a Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Goodyear, AZ. My passion for ameliorating people's lives through movement and lifestyle modification has led me to where I am today. As a future PT, I am so grateful to have chosen a career path that allows quality time with patients and offers a more well rounded approach to health. I am proud of myself to have made it this far, and can't wait to graduate in May 2020 as a licensed PT. My past work experiences include working at a skilled nursing facility as an intern, and working in a retirement home as a fitness technician. Working at a SNF allowed me to interact with a variety of geriatric patients, including many comorbidities, in order to maintain quality of life and optimize their mobility. Since I am a student with a fluctuating schedule, I thought a perfect way to practice my developed skills and help pay for school was to become a caregiver. :)
