I am a nursing student at Northern Arizona University, who is interested in being a caregiver because I am passionate about improving patient's lives through direct-patient care, a caring and empathetic relationship, and through truly making a positive difference in their lives. I have just completed my 4th semester in my nursing program, and I will be graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in December 2021, which is something I am very honored and proud of myself for achieving. While I have not worked as a caregiver throughout my education, I believe my clinical experiences in nursing school have prepared me to be an adequate caregiver for my patients. I want to obtain more experience in this field before entering the nursing field, so I can ensure I am a great nurse in the future. My favorite part of working with patients is seeing the true positive difference I am making in their lives and their family member's lives, along with the personal connection I make with them through providing care and getting to know their life stories. Being an amazing healthcare worker is incredibly important to me, which is why I always strive to do my best when providing patient care; to grow with each new patient experience I have; and to demonstrate integrity, patience, empathy, and compassion with each person I have to pleasure of caring for.

1. I am currently enrolled in the nursing program at Coconino Community College and feel that I can contribute as a Caregiver with the skills that I have learned and continue to learn. I was a Caregiver for four years and loved it. I left the field because I joined the Air Force. 2. I enjoyed being able to give back to society. As we get older life becomes a little difficult especially if you live alone however with the right resources anyone can be successful and continue to live a long healthy life. 3. I am a member of the Air Force Reserve and have served six tours of overseas deployments, have a Masters Degree however I want to obtain a Nursing degree, and have two awesome kids. 4. I am enrolled in the Nursing program at Coconino Community College.
