I became a caregiver because I had a 72 year old grandmother who was on dialysis and was later diagnosed with cancer. I like helping the elder and its what keeps me close to my grandmother and I know that's what she would have expected me to continue doing, especially because Ive always liked to help people that couldn't do for themselves. My personal achievement that I am proud of is that I was there when my Grandmother needed me all the way to her last day on earth, which was May 28, 2014.
