    I took on a private pay caregiving job. I took this client out to get sunshine and on to outings to see the national parks and other sights. this client loved to eat out, talk about family, sight see, get grocery shopping done, and get to the doctors in a timely matter. We had a life alert and many times were in the hospital for help that was much needed. I took this client to church and worshipped. I listened to all the clients stories of what the client did while raising the family were together. Also what the client did for work.

    I would take their van and go to clients homes. I would see if the condition from the last time was the same or changed. I would report this to my boss if any changes would need to be addressed. Then I would fix the meal, get the laundry, and some cleaning. I would take the client or go get the food that the client needed. Sometimes we would go out to eat. I would get their prescriptions if that is what they wanted for me to do. I would take the clients on outings like to the Montezuma wells in Camp Verde, Az. and if able would walk to the stream and enjoy the outdoors. If the client wants to go to the museum or to the local national parks we would make it an afternoon of fun and a drive to get out of the house with plenty of sunshine for vitamins from the sunshine rays.

    I would look to see if any of their condition would have changed. I would document the days activities also. I would clean or make the meals. I would get their prescriptions. I would get all the bedding washed and folded make their beds up for that evenings sleep time. I would stay over night a few times for those clients that needed watching after a surgery. I would give a bath for those who would let me. I made sure they were kept warm and give them their medications if that was the time for them to take them. I would groom the clients to spit spot squeaky clean and shiny. I would listen to their life time stories about their families and work thought that happened in the past. I watched their programs with them that would be on the Television. I would take them to their doctors appointments.
