My first job after having my children was elderly caregiving. I found it easy to work my schedule around my family since it is a 24hr business. I helped in taking care of my elderly grandmother when I was still single. I guess that's where I realised my interest in the personal care profession. With my years of experience in this profession 'Empathy' is what makes me stand out in what I do. Putting yourself in place of who you're caring for and imagining how you would like to be treated would only encourage you to provide caring, compassionate, and dignified care with a great attitude. I am also dependable, patient, honest, and flexible for any change. My love for caring for others is still going strong knowing that it does make a difference in other people's lives. A smile on my client's face would just make my day knowing that I 've done something right.
