When I was 12 my grandmother suffered from a brain aneurysm, so instead of playing outside I stayed in to take care of my grandmother and nursed her back to health. I bathed her, I cooked what I knew how to cook, I helped her with her medications. I went with her to her appointments. I helped her learn to walk and speak again. I want to be a caregiver because I enjoy helping people, I enjoy doing things others wouldn't even try to do. Everyone need someone to genuinely love and care for them. I enjoy seeing the smiles on people face when they know that I truly care for them. I also enjoy just bonding and talking to the clients. Personally I'm proud that I am where I am now, I am the mother of a 10 month old baby and I am going to school part time and trying to get back to work.
