Hi, my name is Jasmine & I enjoy caregiving because I really enjoy helping others & making a difference in my community & in peoples lives. Little bit about me, from age of 9 years old I have been caregiving for my grandmother voluntarily, with while attending & finishing school, throughout childhood & teen years, as a live in care giver. Now I am a continued caregiver for my aunt, also as a live in. Both in which I did full ADL's, errands, groceries, meal prep, med reminder, appointments, bathing, grooming, tolietring, mobility, transfers, daily exercises & daily activities and more. I enjoy what I do & would love to give back to my community even further by helping out more individuals now that my schedule has opened up a bit, while still a live in caregiver for my aunt, and college student & mother. As a graduate from the Accord Medical Institute as a CNA in 2016 & now furthered my training to now work as a caregiver too, Training from Archway Training, for DCW, direct care worker for in homecare. Both the medical Institute & training facility have taught & trained me well! I know the importance of care first hand, also a 10 year + family caregiver for my elderly relatives. That is why you should hire me, for my training & experience as well as fire safety trained, CPR, first aid, AED, Dementia care trained, Courses Completed in Depression in Elderly, Diabetes, Nutrition, & Advocacy for Elderly course completed & trained. I'm also bi-lingual in English and Spanish & I'm a hardoworker who is able bodied to work overtime or long hours if needed. Whether it be a 2 or a 16 hour shift I can do it! I'm also a great cook as also a culinary school graduate. And health and nutrition coursework completion also. I also enjoy cleaning, no prob. Its my pleasure to simply give back to help. My daughter Saturday has shown me everyday what a gift it is to have such love and compassion for others and also having taken care of my elderly parents has been a gift so it is my family that attracts me to the career in Caregiving. What I enjoy most about Caregiving is knowing that I have made each day more positive and hopefully helped someone to feel better emotionally and physically. A personal achievement I am most proud of is my volunteer work at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital where I was assigned to the Oncology Unit and working just to make the children on that unit love, play, or do artwork taught me how precious life is and how even the smallest kindness matters more than we know.
