I have experience in working as a caregiver for over 15 years. I worked with a company and I have worked personally with couples along with assisting my grandmother. I enjoyed working with disabled and elderly people. It brings me great joy knowing that I am helping someone live the best days of their lives. My experience and skills will help the individual with get to a place where they are comfortable and feel loved. Being a caregiver gives me an opportunity to show an individual that they have someone who cares enough about them to help them when they may feel that no one cares. I just recently graduated from Grand Canyon University receiving my Bachelors of Arts in Christian Studies with the Emphasis of Youth Ministry. I am so proud of myself because I have been a single mother for over 24 years and I have been back and forth in college, but never found anything that was fitting into my life. Then, one day God showed me Grand Canyon University. After graduating, I have decided to get a part time job to support my family a little bit more while pursuing a career journey for myself. Caregiving is the best way for me to go because I love people and I like to cook, light clean, and take them out.
