I have been a caregiver for older adult women since 2013. Not only do I enjoy helping and making someone else's life easier and more comfortable, I appreciate being in their company, as they usually have many interesting life stories to share, and I love listening! I am patient and kind, and love to laugh! Also, I am a firm believer in exercise and always strive to impart the importance of it on my clients. I am trained in several health promotion workshops for older adults, related to balance, memory and exercise for those with Arthritis and I am happy to say that I have succeeded in motivating some of my clients to get up and go for a walk, more than they were willing to do when I first met them.
