First and foremost, when I am with a patient, client, resident or whatever the title may be, I don't see them as such. I simply see someone's parent, grandparent, child, spouse etc. Yes, even when it is difficult. We all have those moments in our family when its difficult to have relationships. But you love them anyway and if you care for patients the way you would care for your own family...(with a touch of professionalism) then how can you go wrong. Secondly, I do a really good job.
