I became a care giver because I care. I am a very caring, patient, postive, and I like to help people. I been a care giver for the last 17 years and become something I am really passioned of. I thing there are so many people out there who really need me and people like me to care for them. And therefor I have dedicated myself to be a caregiver. I truly enjoy caring for people because I like making differences in people lives. when I say making difference, its not something I would expect awards or aknowlgement, but the most important thing isa that I am delivering something that would definitely leave a smile on someone face . everyone in this planet deserve care specially when they get old. When I was in Egypt, I took care of an older women who tend to not have any relative around, I became her family, I put her in my grandmother shoes because she deserve it. If I didn't step in to take care of her or anyone did, what will her situation be ? We all need someone to take care of us when we need or when we get old. I am happy to able to provide care for people.

My daughter Saturday has shown me everyday what a gift it is to have such love and compassion for others and also having taken care of my elderly parents has been a gift so it is my family that attracts me to the career in Caregiving. What I enjoy most about Caregiving is knowing that I have made each day more positive and hopefully helped someone to feel better emotionally and physically. A personal achievement I am most proud of is my volunteer work at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital where I was assigned to the Oncology Unit and working just to make the children on that unit love, play, or do artwork taught me how precious life is and how even the smallest kindness matters more than we know.
