I am a 33-year-old self-employed female with a caring heart and sensitive nature. I was drawn to the caregiving field in 2016 after caring for my sister with terminal brain cancer. I pursued a volunteer role in Hospice Care thinking I would eventually become a chaplain. While I didn't end up seeking this career path, I found I have a passion for caring for others (especially those with Alzheimer's). All of my hospice patients had Alzheimer's and I found a special place in my heart for this condition. It is a gift of mine to uplift their spirit and keep them engaged in what lights them up and allows them to continue life with as much normalcy and dignity as possible. I am also a writer and designer and I have another passion for all things spiritual. I'd be delighted to be considered as a caregiver for your loved one.
