I decided to become a caregiver, because I wanted to take care of someone in the privacy of their own home, so the patient can feel comfortable and enjoy getting back to their usual activities of daily living. I'm able to spend quality time with the patient on a one on one basis. I was a new hire at Kaweah Delta Private Homecare and had been chosen in 1999 for a story on the front page cover of their magazine recognizing me for excellent patient care for a Visalia resident.
