I have been a caregiver for 20+ years. I have continued my education as well. I love working with a diverse group of clients. I work with the elderly and mentally disabled from children to adults. I believe that it has always been my purpose. I am very respectful, compassionate and caring. I am also patient, responsible and trustworthy.

I am Joshua Omijie and I live in Vail AZ. I am recently pursuing my bachelors in Human Resource Management from Park University in December 2022. I have lots of work experience working in the military for 11 years. My strength is that, I can adapt quickly to any environment. I can work both as an individual and also as a team player with effective communication and analytical skills that helps to provide creative solutions to a problem. Punctuality and consistency are my biggest trait and I also take pride in been a professional.

I started being a caregiver when I was 19 years old my grandmother had a stroke and I took care of her. I have a daughter that needed a liver transplant at 5 month old. Unfortunately she got cancer at three years old from the inner rejection medicine . My husband got cancer about 12 years agoI taking care of him. Worked in a memory care facility. I have my food handling card CPR card and first aide. I'm certified in dementia and Alzheimer's .

I have always loved caring for others, even as a child. I started working in a Adult Care home in my late 20s and found my passion! I have owned 2 assisted living homes and a Senior Daycare. I have tried other occupations and have always come back to caregiving. I also work with Alzheimers and dementia patients. I am very loving, kind, and patient. With over 20 years experience, you can rest assured that your loved one is in good hands and will receive the best of care!

The most rewarding about care giving is when it felt like there is some sort of purpose in my work. There is a great opportunity to really get me to engage and have the routine like I am doing something bigger than myself because at the end of the day that is where I am going, going more towards what am I doing that is impacting others, how am I helping them because at the end of the day that is what I want to do. I want to help people and I want to be there to provide a service and really help those out who are in need.

I AM SINGLE AND I HAVE A HOME I LOVE WITH A BIG YARD AND LOTS OF FLOWERS ALL OF WHICH ARE WAY TOO MUCH WORK BUT IT IS MY JOY, I HAVE 4 DOGS AND A CAT THAT ARE ALL MY LOVES. I HAVE 2 GRANDDAUGHTERS I NEVER SEE DUE TO DISTANCE AND I HAVE A SON THAT I DON'T SEE OFTEN, I HAVE GREAT FRIENDS AND WE ENJOY THE SYMPHONY AND GOING OUT TO DINNER AND WHATEVER ELSE GOOD WE CAN GET INTO. I LOVE MUSIC AND READING AND WATCHING TV. I AM ALSO A DOG SITTER.

I care a lot about people so I decided to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner. I was the president in high school of the nursing program club, I went to nationals for nursing, and I was the battalion commander of the jrotc program. I currently work at life care. I became a care giver when my mom passed away in 2007. She had a client that I knew, and her family asked me if I would take over. I then got a job with another company through a friend. I enjoy older people. Taking care or them and being a companion to help them out. I have transported clients to the dr, store or even out to eat and movies. Getting out seems to help people with depression. They enjoy it.
