I become a caregiver because it is my passion and I have the patience to help others, especially the elderly. Being a caregiver, I like to see people happy and satisfied of my work for them. I am happy to see and know that they are grateful of my presence in their homes without invading their privacy. I am proud to see them improving in their health situation. Becoming happier and livelier than when I first started. Family members always notice my great and immeasurable patience for their loved ones. My name is Terry Clevenger. I live in Mesa, Az. I have been a caregiver for 18 years now. I am a certified caregiver here in Arizona. I have cared people before with dementia, diabetes, heart problems, had stroke, unable to walk and had a hard time getting out from bed. Sanitation around where the clients live is always my priority. I am conscious for the good nutrition for the clients that I am working for. I am always alert of the need of the clients before it arises. I want to make sure that I am always there for them for their safety without invading, if they want their own space. I am always open to new things in this type of work. Clients have the privilege to customize their care, however and whatever they want to be done for them. Every individual is different. That's how I greatly value and respect my clients.

gave her daily bath, she had her neck surgery at 51 so care must be continued at home after she was released from the hospital, she was expected to be on leave for work for at least 6 months, but her daily IV at home helped her to recover faster than expected, encouraged her to go out daily for exercise, meal preparation was a daily routine because I believed with good nutrition, body and wounds healed faster.
