If they are going through a minor or major medical setback, there should be understanding from the people who are there to take care of them. No one should be afraid to have genuine, sincere care for their loved ones. One of my favorite achievements was while I was doing my clinicals, one of the residents was having a bad day. I asked her about the type of music she liked and we danced in her room. As I was leaving, she called for me and said thank you. She expressed to me it made her feel good to know someone was willing to hear her and give her special attention.
